Madeira Polyneon 40 is Madeira's standard weight of machine embroidery & quilting thread. Manufactured from 100% filament Polyester it can be embroidered or quilted on any fabric including Denim and Leather.
Madeira PolyNeon is suitable for all types of machine embroidery and quilting, including longarm quilting and will provide a high sheen finish to the embroidery.
Produced using special winding methods, unique to Madeira, these durable petroleum based threads will run smoothly at high speeds on various embroidery machines without looping and have extreme washing resistance to chlorine and bleach and can withstand frequent, heavy duty industrial laundering.
If the majority of your customer base requires bleach resistant garments, such as chef’s whites, hotel towels, etc. or for when fluorescent shades are required, then polyester thread is the right choice.
Various types of machine embroidery threads are offered on the market. The ones used most commonly are produced from viscose or polyester. However, in-depth information that helps in understanding the features and limitations of each is often difficult to find. For this reason, we have created the following quick andpractical guide. Learn about the similarities and differences between polyester and viscose machine embroidery threads and for which application each is best suited for.
Due to its resistance to Chlorine*, POLYNEON is the ideal embroidery thread for denim-wash items, those with frequent staining or requiring frequent or heavy duty washing/laundering. Recommended for sportswear, swimwear, children's wear and workwear; particularly hotel, catering and food trade items.
Each 1000m cone will stitch 200,000 stitches.
